One intake workbook. Four results.

The Estate Organizer Workbook, Firm Edition, set up under your firm's name. No AI required.

  • The intake, in one organized file, filled in by your client, your staff or, by arrangement, a Daybreak guide working at your firm's direction.
  • Flags for your review, such as property outside the client's state, or a home in a state with an estate or inheritance tax.
  • Organized for drafting, after your review, by you, your paralegal or your firm's AI tools.
  • A binder for the family, under your firm's name.

You review and control all legal work.

The workbook is an ordinary Excel spreadsheet with no AI inside, and it sends nothing anywhere. This workbook is an educational and organizational tool. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney.

How it works

  1. We set up the workbook under your firm's name, with your logo if you send one.
  2. Your client, your staff or, by arrangement, a Daybreak guide fills it in.
  3. You review the flagged topics in a separate attorney tab. The workbook gives no answers; the judgment stays with you.
  4. When you mark the file ready, the family packet fills in, ready to print as the family's binder. Your client keeps the workbook.

AI is optional. The workbook needs none. If your firm uses AI tools, your staff can work from the same file under your firm's data policies. By arrangement, Daybreak can also do AI-assisted organizing, under your direction and only with your client's consent. When a client prefers no AI, the work is done entirely by hand.

One organized file

Assets, accounts and beneficiary designations arrive in the same order every time, so your staff is not rebuilding the picture from a folder of statements.

A person at the front door

A will or trust intake is one of the most personal conversations a client has. It deserves a person, not a chatbot. By arrangement, and at your firm's direction, a Daybreak guide can walk your client through the workbook at a pace that suits them. Every guide signs a confidentiality agreement covering your firm and its clients, records information only and answers no legal questions; those go to you. Daybreak bills sessions to your firm, never to your client.

A final act of care

Your client keeps the workbook to update and store somewhere safe. The family binder holds only what you have reviewed and released, arranged in advance by someone who cares about them.
